It's Birthday Time (for Seth!)

Happy birthday to my one and only, the marvelously talented, endlessly patient, loving, generous, funny, charming, and creative Seth.

Here is my 2009 birthday post.  We celebrated with his family by having them all over for make-your-own-pizzas, and my parents took us out to dinner later in the week.

Here is my 2010 birthday post.  He turned 30 last year, so I threw him a big party at the beginning of December, and then, in lieu of gifts at his request, took him to Jim Thorpe for a fun, overnight getaway.  If you've never been to Jim Thorpe and you like to hike, you should totally go.  It's a small, cute little town in the Poconos.  Seth and I definitely got lost and took the long way up the mountain:

But were rewarded with extreme beauty once we got to the top (Seth took this pic and I love it!):
Which, I must say, has been much like our separate lives before marriage and our life together.

When I asked Seth how he wanted to celebrate his birthday this year, he decided that he wanted to relax and enjoy some good food.  And, if you have known Seth for any length of time you know that the man loves to eat good food.  So, his birthday week has been centered around food this year!  My parents took us to Fogo de Chao, Seth's parents took us to Lily's on Main, and I am taking Seth to a new Asian restaurant in our area tonight.  Mmmm....my man has been in heaven!  Do we all know him well or what? :)

Happy birthday to you, Seth, my beloved and best friend.  There is no one else who I would rather be with in this journey of life, and no one who holds my heart like you do.

I love you, babe.

Always and forever.
